Synthesis

“Somewhere between right and wrong there is a garden, I’ll meet you there?” – Rumi

A humble attempt to synthesize my life’s learnings in the journey of knowing myself and the truth

We live in a world where everything moves.

Feelings shift. Understandings deepen. People change in directions we never imagined. What once felt eternal may eventually fade away into the quiet memory.

And yet, we build our lives on these very sands – out of hope, a hope that something might stay.

This reflection arises from a inner shift, the experience of watching love and happiness fade in relationships, emotions changing moment by moment, within us and within others. What once felt like a priority begins to lose its place. What was once a necessity now feels unnecessary. And what used to bring comfort slowly becomes a source of discomfort.

It is not a sorrowful unraveling, but a tender invitation inward .. to witness the nature of life which is always shifting, always flowing – not to disturb us, but to awaken us. A reminder that everything we cling to is temporary, no matter how real or solid it once seemed.

Perhaps the question isn’t what will stay, but how will we be present, knowing that nothing stays?

But ..Why does everything change? Why?

Impermance seems like a flaw in life. But in reality is life.

If nothing changed, nothing would evolve. No learning, no expansion, no awakening would be possible. Painful as it may be, change breaks our illusions of control, forcing us to go deeper into understanding, compassion, and maturity.

We often cling to people, emotions, roles, or outcomes for a sense of stability. But life gently reminds us, sometimes painfully, that everything we hold onto will eventually slip away. This is not cruelty, but a kind of mercy. It invites us to find peace within, where true stability lies.
